Jennifer is a Bend-based artist who believes beauty offers real sustenance – for both the good and hard seasons of life. As a former dancer, capturing movement is the overarching theme in her work, with the aim to create something that feels alive. Her work starts with how colors interact on canvas, and can then evolve into either abstract or landscape forms. She first studied art at Wake Forest University, and went on to work as a reconstructive surgery PA while painting in every spare moment she could find. She is a mom of (almost!) 4, trail runner, music lover, and popcorn connoisseur. She is usually out somewhere with poor cell reception taking in the beauty of Central Oregon when not in the studio.
