This colors in this piece are inspired by the boldness and unapologetic vibrancy of Diane Von Fostenburg’s life in “The Woman I Wanted to Be,” which I read this past spring. I had never read a biography of a fashion icon before, and I was deeply struck by her artistry and stubborn persistence. May we all tend that kind of vitality in ourselves and in our spaces!
