Warming Hut View
If you’re a nordic skier or snowshoer, you might know this view: Broken Top as seen from the first warming hut from Virgina Meissner’s Tangent Loop. I remember the first time I found out that these magical huts even existed - I felt like I was in some sort of fairytale. They’re still my favorite parts about nordic skiing! If the huts are like a warm hug, this view is a giant breath of fresh air, and one of my favorite wintertime vistas.
