This abstract botanical color study is all about play. If you are in a season where you’re around kids as I am, we all know is actually quite important work, yes? It turns out my color play here propelled me into more wild botanicals than I could imagine, but this one in particular remains a favorite. Aptly titled “Wild Growth,” it encapsulates the life and beauty something can have if allowed to change, evolve, and expand wildly.
11 × 14” Panel
Oils and oil sticks on birch board with 2.5” deep birch floating frame
*frame adds approximately 0.75” to each side
